Dice the onion and garlic.
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add onion and garlic, cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, and salt.
Add chopped tomatoes and kidney beans.
Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
Serve hot, optionally with rice or bread.
